Sessions

Newborn sessions are all about capturing the sweet, fleeting moments of your baby’s first days. With a focus on natural, timeless imagery, I create a calm and cozy environment where your little one can be safely and comfortably photographed. Whether it’s tiny fingers and toes, sleepy snuggles, or the love between your growing family, every detail is documented with care. Sessions can take place in the comfort of your home or a studio setting, allowing for a relaxed experience that lets you soak in every precious moment. These are the days you’ll want to remember forever—let’s capture them beautifully.

How can I prepare?

Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first two weeks of life, as babies are sleepier and easier to pose during this time. I do not schedule newborn sessions past four weeks, as babies tend to be more alert and less flexible for those curled-up, sleepy poses. To help ensure a smooth session, try to keep your baby awake for at least one to two hours before arriving—playing with them can help tire them out. Bringing pacifiers and bottles is highly encouraged, as babies often eat three to four times during a session.

I highly recommend booking your newborn session ahead of time by scheduling it a week past your due date. If needed, we can always adjust the session date once your baby arrives to ensure we capture them at the perfect time. Since newborn sessions can take time, especially if the baby is unsettled, I suggest bringing a snack and something for any older siblings to do while they wait. The goal is to create a relaxed and stress-free experience, so you can enjoy these precious moments while I capture them beautifully.
